Love all things Burlesque and Cabaret but no dance experience? We have the perfect solution for you………
A well being dance class inspired by Burlesque & Cabaret fused together to bring you a class that will leave you hooked and coming back for more! We are a community built on the foundations of building people up and not tearing them down, to help you build confidence, improve your self esteem and find your fabulous whilst building on general fitness, coordination, posture and strength.
No matter your age (min 16), fitness level, shape or size, dance abilities, you are all welcome, we pride ourselves on being a dance class for everyone, no judgement, full of laughter and friendship. No move is a wrong move in our classes…..trust me, even the instructors have their moments!
All you need is general fitness attire i.e. vest top/t-shirt and leggings…..some ladies like to dress it up for the grand finale of a routine but that is completely optional! Please no trainers as it makes it incredibly difficult to dance in, we advise some grip socks or fishnets under leggings to help make moving under foot easier!

Want to learn a Burlesque routine using our beautiful & colourful giant feather fans? update-Vegan friendly fans now available.
Fan dancing is a showstopping dance style, elegant and visually beautiful. Working with two beautiful giant fans, you will learn how to ‘hide and reveal’. Fan dancing works on the essence of suggestion and exploits the dancer’s skill of manoeuvre, poise and motion. It combines a blend of style, grace with elements of tease. The fan dance masterclass is a fun way to learn one of the most aesthetically pleasing of all burlesque dance styles. Suitable for beginners, this class will leave you feeling FANTASTIC!
Not only do you learn a beautiful routine, you also have the opportunity to have your photos taken by our extremely talented Starlesque Instructor and Photographer Laura Holme who’s passion and speciality is body confidence photography….with her eye for detail and flattering lighting, guided with poses that enhance and accentuate the natural female form you will be left with a beautiful keepsake and memory of the day in images.
